All bins supplied by Edmonton Disposal remain the property of Edmonton Disposal

  • By hiring Edmonton Disposal, you hereby expressly authorize Edmonton Disposal to enter your premises to drop off and reclaim the bins without further notice from your property.
  • Designated bin drop of location shall be provided at the time of booking.
  • Once the bins are dropped off, the bins must not be relocated or moved.
  • Subsequent relocation of the bins to another site will be charged additional fees.
  • Edmonton Disposal cannot be held liable for any damages resulting from the waste removal services on either public or private property during the course of business operation. The customer expressly authorizes and agrees to indemnify and save harmless Edmonton Disposal for any damages to driveway, lawn, trees, drainage, cables and wires.
  • The customer will be liable to Edmonton Disposal for any kind of damage, theft or fire to the bins.
  • The customer shall not overload the bins, shall not allow overflow beyond the edge of the bins and/or dispose of unpermitted materials. Any excess costs in over weigh, over flow and or disposal of the materials that are not allowed will result in additional fees billed directly to the customer.
  • All payments must be made upon delivery unless stated otherwise. Outstanding accounts past 30days will be charged 2% interest per month and will result in debt collection and processing fees.

ALLOWED ITEMS

  • Construction debris including scrap wood, fencing, decking, flooring, roofing and siding
  • Household furniture such as unwanted couches, tables, chairs and desks
  • Household junk including boxes, books, old carpet, hand tools, power tools, and automotive parts clean of oil & grease
  • Small amounts of rock, sod, dirt, and concrete
  • Small garden debris including weeds, tree clippings, grass clippings, and potting supplies

RESTRICTED ITEMS

Due to regulations outside of our control, there are a number of items that are not allowed*to be placed inside your bin. Many non-hazardous items can be disposed of at local Eco Stations. Information on waste disposal for restricted items can be found on the Alberta Recycling Alberta Recycling website.

  • Hazardous waste, toxic, flammable
  • Paint, animal carcasses, batteries, tires, etc.
  • Chemical, biological, pathological or biomedical waste including their containers
  • Manure and sewage
  • Food waste & hot waste
  • Certain household appliances such as fridges, and freezers
  • Televisions, photocopiers, and other computer equipment

* All extra fees & penalties we incur related to restricted items will be charged to the bin renter.

PLEASE NOTE:

If any of the above items are disposed of in the bins, additional fees will apply for the removal and proper disposal. Acceptable items are only those allowed by the local landfill. In the event of uncertainty items please contact Edmonton Disposal for pre-approval to avoid extra chargers.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

In the event that you need to cancel your booking a minimum of 24 hour notice will be required for a full refund of your payment. If you fail to cancel before the bin has left the yard it would result in Dry Run charge of $75 (Plus GST).
